Are You Making This Conversion Optimization Mistake?

There are two ways users look for content:

👉 Search and find

👉 Browse and discover

I saw a PUMA ad today, thought the shoe looked good, clicked on the ad, and it brought me to their homepage, not the shoe. Not a great user-experience.

Now, I have to try to find the shoe and I encounter the second negative user-experience.

They don’t make it easy for users to browse and discover. There should be an ‘All’ filter for all the categories.

The way this menu is structured, it presupposes the user knows what sub-category they want. This is more of a search and find approach.

Will I take the time to go through each of these subcategories?

Nope!
