Why Your B2B Content Strategy Isn't Working

If you’re working in B2B SaaS, it’s important to think like a content creator.

Those boring carousels, showcasing your features and benefits are lame.

Nobody wants to see that.

Spend time thinking about the hook. The hook is the first 3 seconds of experience (What they see, hear, and feel.)

This takes into consideration the visuals, the scenario, the text on screen, the opening line, the sound direction, the pattern interruption…

I break it down like this:

👉 What’s the concept

👉 What’s the hook

👉 What’s the payoff

If the first 3 seconds don’t earn attention, the next 30 seconds don’t matter.

If the next 30 seconds doesn’t create curiosity, the message doesn’t land.

If the message doesn’t land, your brand (or product) doesn’t gets remembered.

So it’s not “Which feature should we talk about?” (“Our platform automates compliance documentation…”)

Instead, ask: “What concept would make someone want to watch this?” (A frazzled ops manager at 9:47pm digging through email threads looking for a contract clause that should have never gone missing.)
