This applies to everything from LinkedIn posts, video clips for social, and ads.

Essentially you want your hook to be good enough to stop the user from scrolling.

If you can’t get them to stop scrolling, you’re definitely not going to be able to sell them anything.

The average hook rate for Facebook ads is around 24%, but high-performing ads can reach hook rates of 40-60%.

But how do you test video hook rates on your Facebook ads?

If you look for “Hook Rate” metric in the Facebook Ad Manager, you won’t find it.
